We're Hiring!

Game Masters for Hire is looking for a few capable Game Master to run games as part of our team.

At this time we are looking to hire 2-3 Game Masters to help run Dungeons & Dragons After School programs in Los Angeles area middle and high schools. Classes will include teaching students to create a character and running a weekly ongoing campaign (likely Lost Mine of Phandelver).

In addition to the campaign, classes will be supplemented with enrichment lessons on creative writing, character development, improvisation, and dramatic conflict — curriculum, lesson plans, and paid training will be provided.

Details:

    • 1-3 classes per week, 1-2hrs per class
    • Weekdays 3:30-5:30pm (current estimate; may change)
    • Paid prep time per week
    • 4-10 hrs/week total
    • Potential for more in the future
    • We provide all student materials
    • We supplement teacher materials
      (maps, miniatures, & more!)
    • Some positions to start in April, others in the Summer

In order to work in Los Angeles Schools, employees and vendors must meet certain criteria. We will help you with the process, but please be aware of the following requirements:

    • CPR/First Aid Training
    • Clear TB test
    • Background check & LiveScan Fingerprinting

While we’re currently hiring for the position above, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in future opportunities! We are working towards launching Spring, Winter and Summer Break camps as well as increasing our campaigns not affiliated with after-school programs
